When people get the question, different people have different answers. Just as a saying goes a coin has two sides, so the answer is yes or not.
Some people think money is the source of happiness, and others believe money is the root of all evil. The former thinks money is everything in life. If one person has a lot of money, he can do anything want to do. For instance, he can enjoy everything luxurious in the world, can eat delicacies, buy a luxurious house or car, or travel around the world.
But in my opinion, money may be the most necessary thing in our daily life but it cannot buy happiness. Indeed if we have a lot of money we could have a happier life. But this doesn't mean the money could buy happiness. It just can improve the quality of our daily life. With money we can buy something delicious wanting to eat, something beautiful wanting to have or something excited wanting to enjoy. Without money we could not buy these things, we can't enjoy these things. Maybe we are very unhappy, boring, even we are full of complaint every day. But no matter how poor we are doesn't mean we are not happy. Because we can be happy for a smile, which cannot be bought with money. In our daily life, happiness is everywhere and it needs us to find and feel. It is very clear that money can't buy happiness. Happiness is not like goods we could buy anytime. It is inward and not outward and doesn't depend on what we have and on how we feel.
