摘要:The invention concerns the geometric measuring of a workpiece using acoordinate measuring unit (1) and a revolving table (6). The coordinate measuring unit (1)senses the three-dimensional shape of the workpiece placed on the revolving table (6). Areference object located on the revolving table (6) is sensed by the coordinate measuringunit (1) before the workpiece is measured, and the workpiece is then measured. Thetemperature of the revolving table (6) is determined, and the reference object is sensedonce more in the event that a change in temperature or a rate of increase in the
temperature change exceeds a threshold value of the reference object, and a correctionof the measurement values of the workpiece is carried out by sensing the referenceobject before and after measuring the workpiece. Alternatively, the revolving table canbe calibrated during which a reference temperature is stored, the temperature of therevolving table is recorded again before carrying out the measurement, and is calibratedonce more before carrying out the measurement in the event that the change intemperature is too great.
