Save the Forest
I feel sorrow for the ecological destruction caused by the wildfire .Hence,I’m bursting to evoke everyone’s awareness of the significance of forest protection.
Forest functions as an indispensable part in the ecosystem with its unprecedented biodiversity,as well as being integral to the absorption of carbon dioxide, thus helping to reduce global warming.Given its tremendous value,we ought to take prompt action in response to deforestation. On the one hand, policies conducive to the afforestation of marginal farmland should be fully supported and funded. On the other hand, rigorous regulations on harmful human activities like logging should be imposed.
In conclusion,I truly hope our joint effort could make a difference in the fight against deforestation.

Two hours before our presentation,we were in need of paper flowers.Fortunately, several classmates came to our assistance, which greatly accelerated our course of paper flowers making. Then we pasted the handmade flowers to the blackboard according to the adjusted design scheme, checked every detail for the last time and waited nervously for the school leaders. Finally came the presentation,I vividly introduced our concept and demonstrated our design to the leaders. It was really a relief to see them beam with satisfaction.
Eventually, the school leaders announced the result of the competition. We held our breath at that moment and were exhilarated to hear that our project won the first place! The leaders praised our delicate decoration as well as the content, which distinguished our work from other monotonous ones.Apart from the blackboard presentation, the concert I participated in also achieved great success. All my initial worries were soothed away.Through this unforgettable experience,I realize the significance of cooperation and commitment.I am gradually getting accustomed to the pace of college life.
A
根据“In Asia,we serve eight cities,including Guangzhou and newly added

I was looking up at the people we passed — at first indifferently, but then attentively.”
It is easy to overlook her in a crowd
because she is nothing extraordinary to see.”中间也提到了“I looked at her,and I was ashamed. My mom is nothing extraordinary, yet at that moment she stood out because she was just so plain.”文章采取欲扬先抑的手法,前面反复提及妈妈的nothing extraordinary,一是为了突出后面的“Suddenly,Mother was beautiful and extraordinarily wonderful in my eyes.”

D

unaware that we have them.We simply assume that the way we see things is the way they really are or the way they should be.And our attitudes and behaviors grow out of those assumptions. The way we see things is the source of the way we think and the way we act.”

Charles,66 years old, recently moved from New York to the small town of Weatherford.Upon his arrival, data workers were collecting his personal details.Social media was targeting ads at him. Then one day, after shopping at a local home store,he got an email from the company asking how his visit was. He’s pretty sure the company used location-tracking on his work phone to find him.So Charles decided to pull himself off most social media. He kept just his LinkedIn account, quit using the search engine Google, and paid for a subscription to Delete-Me,a service that helps people remove information from databases.
Charles isn’t anti-technology.He’s simply one of a growing number of Americans concerned by the loss of control over personal information.Today, your digital self includes your social media accounts,user-names and passwords.Possibly the most terrible thing is that your smart-phone records the location data of your daily life as you carry it around.
There are serious consequences to the skyrocketing amount of data.A number of companies look to profit from it.Besides,it has also given online crimes new opportunities to use your personal details for all kinds of online tricks.
