Topic: The Disadvantage of Product Placement in Chinese Movies Nowadays our film industry has developped a lot as the development of Chinese market economy, but films investors find that it is a little difficult to make cost-recovering. So many of the film makers pay high attention to the product placement. In this way they can shift the cost to the advertisers. That is why our audiences have to watch many kinds of product placements in Chinese movies. However, some films get too many product placements to be good films and make the audiences tired of the movies. In this thesis, I will elaborate some disadvantages of product placements in Chinese movies. II. Theory

Although there are some disadvantages in Chinese movies product placements, we should find that the whole development of Chinese films is bright and broad. Our film makers are creative and practical, which lead them to be more professional and make more good films.
