摘要：Disclosed is a modified vanadium/phosphorus mixed oxide catalyst for thepartial oxidation of -butane to maleic anhydride. The catalyst comprises niobium as apromoter element in an amount corresponding to an atomic ratio of vanadium toniobium in the range of 300:1 to 10:1. The catalyst exhibits improved activity, improvedyield of maleic anhydride, and optimal performance from the very beginning of itscatalytic lifetime.
