摘要：When the size of a printing paper is smaller than a half of the whole area usedfor expanding the printing data, a method and apparatus for controlling high speedprinting in a printer device, having a bit-map memory, a data transfer circuit fortransferring video data on the bit- map memory to a printer, and a copying unit forcopying the dot- data within a rectangular region on the bit-map memory, includecopying the dot-data expanded in a first area on the bit-map memory into a second areathat does not overlap with the first area; and sending the dot-data to the printer, andsimultaneously expanding the printing data of the next page in the first area. When thesize of a printing paper is smaller than the whole area, the method and apparatus includecopying the dot- data expanded in a first area on the bit-map memory into a second areathat overlaps with the first area in one part; sending the dot-data to the printer; andexpanding the printing data of the next page in the first area partially in parallel.
