The electronic device includes a communicationinterface; a memory configured to store first identification information corresponding toan external electronic device and second identification information corresponding to acommunication processor (CP) of the external electronic device, and a processor, whereinthe processor is configured to generate authentication information based on at least thefirst identification information and the second identification information, generate anelectronic signature corresponding to the authentication information through encryptionof at least a part of data related to the authentication information, and transmit theelectronic signature to the external electronic device using the communication interface.
